Hoyochi Nikko (Resort Of The Sunbeam), is an intimate, two-story condominium complex located on Maui's famous west side. Here, you will escape the crowds and hustle of Maui's many highrise condominiums. There are only 18 units on our property. If you've been surrounded by crowds of tourists at other high-rise facilities, then you'll enjoy the privacy you find here.
The grounds and gardens are tastefully landscaped and provide you a wonderful, private oceanfront setting for socializing and relaxing outside your unit. Sea turtles are known to feed in the morning just along our shoreline. In season (peak season), you will find that Hoyochi Nikko's location is one of the planet earth's premiere locations for whale watching.

Where it is.... How to get there from the airport.....
You will probably be arriving at Kahului Airport - Maui's major airport. From Kahului, we are approximately 30 miles west of the airport. The drive from the airport to your unit is a very scenic seaside drive. If you take a commuter airline from Honolulu to Maui's West Airport (Maui's Kapalua Airport via Island Air from Honolulu @ 1-800-323-3345) - you are only 5 minutes from our condo).

SWIMMING AND SNORKELING
If you like swimming in the ocean, then you'll love what we refer to as Hoyochi Nikko's unique "natural ocean pool". Located just steps from your unit, this natural pool is in reality a semi-circular barrier coral reef which extends several hundred feet beyond the shoreline. In the middle of this coral area, you will find a soft, sandy bottom. The depth ranges from knee high to chest deep. You'll enjoy swimming among the fishes as you snorkel along the coral.
We really must emphasize the privacy aspect. This natural ocean pool makes your swimming area generally inaccessible to passersby, thus increasing your privacy along Hoyochi Nikko's stretch of shoreline. This is a feature which is rare among oceanfront vacation condos, and we think you'll discover this to be very pleasing. Interested in a moonlight swim? You can do it here with a profound sense of privacy.
Prefer to swim in the pool? Please notice how our tile pool directly faces the ocean. (This is important because you might otherwise end up in one of the many Maui complexes in which the pool is on the "backside", shady part of the building). Do you want to be able to take in the ocean view while you swim? We think you'll enjoy this aspect of your stay here. The pool is a beautiful blue tile with an artistic inlaid picture of a whale for your enjoyment.
THE VIEW FROM YOUR CONDO
Your view. It's important. It serves as the backdrop for your entire condo stay. Some visitors come to Maui and find themselves crammed in between high rise units taking away any sense of privacy. Some people may have a nice view but because of Maui's open beach policy, their view takes in not only the ocean, but a constant stream of boom-box toting pedestrians walking or setting up their spot directly in front of you.
Since it's your vacation, we hope you'll choose a place with a wonderful, unique view. It's quiet and private. The view is unobstructed. We believe you won't be disappointed with our condo.
